What do you think of this (poem?)?

-So I wrote this about someone very special to me. What d'you think? I was going to rearrange the order I have them in and maybe change a few words here or there, but this is just something I jotted down for a start. Any good?



She'll never know that I missed her today,

That I missed her pretty face oh so.

She'll never know I cried today,

Knowing that she'll never be home.

She'll never know how much I loved her so,

From the moment I saw her smiling face.

She'll never know I wanted to phone her today,

Just to hear her voice.

She'll never know I keep her picture beside my bed,

To seek comfort when I need her most.

She'll never know why I love her so much,

And how I miss her next to me.

She'll never know how my heart beats fast every time I see her,

How I feel when she smiles at me.

She'll never know that she was my shining star,

That all my days shined with her there.

She'll never know how much I miss her,

Oh how I need her back.

She'll never know how much I think about her,

How much I miss her smile and laugh.

She'll never know how no one will compare to her,

How she's one in a million and the best there is.

She'll never know how much pain I feel,

Knowing i'll never touch her again.

She'll never know how much I miss her smell,

That lingered everywhere, but not anymore.

She'll never know that I kept everything that reminds me of her,

That memories are all I have left.

She'll never know I cooked her dinner today,

Hoping she'd be back sitting beside me.

She'll never know exactly how I felt,

I wish I would have told her how much I loved her so.

I also write a wee bit of poetry now and again, so all I can say is, all of the words, meanings etc. are perfect.

Just like you,I pour out my feelings and then return in an hour or two.

Leave it for now and then read it again, I bet there will be heaps of crossings outs, but also additions.

A good poem. Lose the 'one in a million and the best there is'.
I loved this poem from start to finish. reading through a couple of things jumped out that I'd miss, but that is me,

This is your tribute to someone you miss, so when you read back as your first answer said, you will see maybe one or two words you could miss, or in fact none at all.

If you alter too much the essence will go and that will be a shame.
