-Envy the dark of night,
With dreams untainted,
By sun鈥檚 revealing light.
Desire what could be,
As scars fuse together
The pain and misery.
Seek serenity in chaos,
With unyielding faith
Grasp at illusions of love.
The scraps of life fall like rain,
Yet just dust and bones,
After the vultures, remain. Not exactly sure what you're asking but this is a great poem. You made very good use of figurative language. My favorite lines are line 7 "seek serenity in chaos" and line 10 "the scraps of life fall like rain". If you were asking if the poem was small and simple then yes it was and I liked it.I really enjoyed reading this. I judge poetry very harshly because I am a poet myself. But I really like your poem.
Damn vultures will pick the last bit of life from you if you stagnate.....
Nice poem!
Very good..
