-I write dark poems but a lot of my friends don't like it. They say it's too depressing.I think "dark" poetry is more interesting and I relate to it more often. However, I like "happy" poetry too especially those that are ridiculous and light-hearted. It pretty much depends on my mood. If I'm cheerful I read the bright ones, if I'm depressed I tend to read the moody ones. I mostly tend to enjoy the morbid, dreary and rather sensuous ones about forbidden/unrequited love. Overall, I seem to love gothic poetry.
NO WAY!
you just gotta meet the correct people...
I've been writing gothic poems from last 3 years almost!
my cousins, friends complaint that I shouldn't continue but well, writing sad stuff make me happy and I'm unstoppable...
Cheers, goth friend.
I believe that dark poetry is usually more genuine and personal, sadness can be more intense than happiness.
Dark, they generally have more depth and emotion
and also tragedy is usually easly relatable compared to happiness sad as it seems it true
I would have to say dark because they have more feeling to them. Hope i helped :)
I think it depends on my mood.
